I've had two great longer term SB arrangements before, and I'm looking for a new one. I run my own companies and love helping people start their own (helped both of the last two start their own businesses). I love the SD/SB dynamic as it fits perfectly into my current life.

I'm going to cut to the chase, and what worked for me in the past was: n the past, the two great SBs I had that lasted a while, basically went like this (and of course we can be flexible and find what works for us): 1. We'd meet at a set time at her place each week, which made scheduling easier; 2. We'd meet another 2-4 times a month as our schedules worked -- for anything from lunch, dinner, staying in, going to a hockey or baseball game, shopping, something a little wild -- whatever we wanted to do, when we could; 3. It was always ok to check in and see if the other person was free, but if not, no worries at all; 4. There was of course assistance on my end; and 5. I'm there to help out too when needed if things arose. The great thing about this is it is more than friends with benefits, because I help out in multiple ways, but we both know its NOT a bf/gf or leading to a serious relationship. Once we got to know each other better, we occasionally traveled, and basically did whatever made us both happy. I'm here to help you out how you need it, and you're here to be a cute female friend that like hanging out with but that knows that there's most likely nothing going to the "forever" type stage.
